I'm cycling with purpose to help #cureCACNA1A
Support My Ride for the CACNA1A Foundation
On May 4, 2025, I’ll be participating in the NYC TD Five Boro Bike Tour—a 40-mile ride through New York City’s five boroughs. This year, I’m riding to support the CACNA1A Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals affected by rare CACNA1A-related disorders. These disorders can lead to significant challenges, including epilepsy, intellectual disabilities, autism, and movement and coordination difficulties.
For me, this cause is personal. I suffer from migraines, and research has shown a link between CACNA1A mutations and certain severe migraine disorders, including hemiplegic migraines. While my experience is different from those living with CACNA1A-related conditions, I know firsthand how neurological disorders can impact daily life. That’s why I’m committed to raising awareness and funds to support the Foundation’s work.
The CACNA1A Foundation provides critical resources, funds research, and connects families navigating these life-long conditions. I’m asking for your help to reach my fundraising goal of $1,000. Your donation, no matter the amount, will support the Foundation’s important work and make a difference in the lives of those affected by CACNA1A disorders.
I’m taking on this challenge because these families deserve better options, more understanding, and hope for a brighter future. Your support means a lot to me and will help move us closer to that goal.
Thank you for considering a donation and cheering me on during this ride. Together, we can make a real impact.
Just a small donation will go a long way in helping me meet my goal for the CACNA1A Foundation.
